Jade Jameson is part of a very important New York family, she went to society events as a child and behaved in public to please her family, very early on she was taught about always looking your best in front of other people. Her mother taught her that grace, style and class were vital in getting everything you wanted. Her father taught her that sometimes it’s okay to bend the rules to get what you want. The world was about having power and Jade was to know this and be a powerful person just like her father. Jade’s parents use to be involved in a criminal lifestyle, they’re not exactly the most moral people, but they do care a lot about their family. Jade is very much her parents daughter, she acts as if she likes people to their face, but she can be a backstabber. She will do anything to climb the social ladder.
Jade is aware of the feud between the Van Buren and The Jameson families, she doesn’t really know why their is so much hatred between the two, but Jade was taught to hate anyone her parents hate.Her brother Darren, rebelled against his family and became a mechanic, this upset Jade a lot because she wanted her brother to have a powerful job. She has it in for Olivia Van Buren, she blames her for corrupting her brother. Jade enjoys causing trouble, it’s entertaining for her. Jade really wants to be loved, she does enjoy scheming and being a trouble maker, but she’s still just a girl looking for real love and acceptance, as she gets to know the Van Buren girls better, she starts thinking that she can’t just hate people because of her family.
